IMAGES OF OUR WORKPLACE

Our hydrostatic installation permits us to verify a cylinder for airtightness under controlled pressure up to 10 000 lbs. per square inch. The objet of the hydrostatic verification is to test the extinguisher under pressure against any ruptures. This verification should be done, on average, at regular 5 years intervals, depending on the type of cylinder.

EXTINGUISHERS AND COMPUTERS

Here is an overall view of our hydrostatic verification department. Our equipment carries the GALISO brands. When we verify the state of our cylinders, you may be sure that we possess all the necessary expertise and equipment to guarantee professional work. Our technicians have received the highest degree of training and carry out their work in a clean and secure environment.

Following are the three principal sections of this modern verification department.

PRE-HISTORIC TIME? DO NOT KNOW...

Before testing a cylinder we have to be sure to unscrew and open it properly. Our opening under pressure apparatus has let us pass from the sledgehammer and monkey wrench era to that of the pressure controlled ers. There is less damage in the handling stages of the cylinder and therefore less additional costs which prolong the ife of your investment. Here we see our technician regulating the pressure on the closing of a cylinder.

HOW DEEP THE CATCH BASIN

Our catch basin which permits us to verify the airtightness of cylinders under controlled pressure reaches a depth of 8 feet. For this we had to dig a basin of 6 feet in depth. In addition, a 30 foot rolling bridge permits us to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to half a ton.

THE FINISHING TOUCH

Before filling and re-sealing the cylinders, we make absolutely sure they are well dried and exempt of any impurities. Our automatic dryer permits us to clean and dry, under pressure, all the cylinder models that we inspect. The automatic pivoting base makes for easy use and assure a superior quality of service.
